Announcing New Courses Funded by Data Skills for Work
We are delighted to announce that funding has been awarded to several training and education providers to deliver new digital and data upskilling courses across Edinburgh & South East Scotland and the Tay Cities Region. This initiative is part of the Data Skills Credits small grants scheme which, through partnership with the Data Skills Gateway and DigiTay, has been instrumental in supporting over 1000 learners to upskill since its inception in 2020.
Who are the courses for?
Our fully funded training opportunities are available for individuals who live or work in the Tay Cities and Edinburgh and South East Scotland regions, provided they meet certain eligibility criteria. We particularly encourage applications from women, individuals from ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and neurodivergent individuals. About the Data Skills Credits Scheme
Launched in 2020, the Data Skills Credits scheme by Data Skills for Work at The Data Lab provides financial support to training and education providers. The scheme aims to enhance the digital and data skills of learners by offering up to £10,000 in funding per provider. This funding ensures learners have access to high-quality, relevant training that empowers them to thrive in a data-driven world.
